360 Video
360° video is one of the most powerful content formats for user engagement. It transports viewers to the centre of the film, revolutionalising content, while giving them a full 360 interactive experience of real-world filming.
Rather than looking through a traditional, static window, 360º video and photography now immerses us within the scene.
With major platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and browsers like Google Chrome supporting the format, your 360° content has the potential to reach millions.
Producing Live Action Aerial 360 Video
We are early adopters of the 360 technologies and try to offer the latest equipment to support creators and their ideas.
We are one of a handful of UK drone companies producing live-action 360° video content for Virtual Reality productions. We have pioneered the aerial techniques for the practical capture of 360 video and photography.
Our talented 360 VR team bring experiences to life using our latest production techniques and creative know how.
Moving a 360º video camera in the air can open up whole new opportunities for VR experiences. We offer an Inspire 1 drone, and Phantom 4 Pro which both carry a Ricoh Theta V 360 camera.
We utilise the Inspire 1 drone from DJI with a custom camera mount. The system features full pilot monitoring for safe use, and the latest GPS navigation.
With 360º cameras mounted on a drone, there can be issues with micro-vibrations but the mounting place and singe double lens Ricoh camera overcomes the vibration issue.
The current format is 360 video format is a 4k 360 video camera with is providing some really stunning results. This has been available for hire since the beginning of 2019.
If you don't want the drone to appear in the 360 video, our modified Phantom 4 Pro suspended the 360 4K video camera upto two meters below the drone.
This meant that the drone appears in the 360 video as a small object that can be masked out of the film footage in post production.
360 VR films are 2020’s next major aerial visual experience, we are entering a new age and Drone Photography Services aim to be at the very heart of it.
Our pilots are CAA fully qualified and we fully adhere to all current UAV flight legal requirements and rules for all aerial work.
If you don't have a 360 film, speak to us to find out why you need one. We want to offer our clients the best content that is only possible through VR.
